Trimble Connect Business Premium Included in Software Subscriptions
Continuing to connect the office and the field for our customers, we are pleased to announce that Trimble Field Systems has standardized the inclusion of Trimble Connect Business Premium licenses across multiple Trimble subscription offerings. The improved product subscription offerings include:
- Trimble Access
- Trimble Business Center
- Trimble RealWorks
- Trimble Perspective
- Trimble SiteVision (already include a Trimble Connect Business Premium license)
- Trimble FieldLink
- Spectra Geospatial Origin
- Spectra Geospatial Survey Office
Subscription license holders are entitled to one seat of Trimble Connect Business Premium for each seat of the underlying software product. The change took effect on January 21, 2025, and applies to current and new purchase subscription licenses. There’s no further action required for current subscription customers to use their Connect Business Premium license.

Trimble Connect Business Premium offers unlimited projects, unlimited team members, and unlimited data storage, along with advanced BIM tools, enriched 3D workflows, and expanded access to apps and extensions.
With powerful features like Property Sets for seamless progress tracking across the office, shop, and field, the Data Table for intuitive layout analysis, and the Organizer to align fieldwork with real-world construction processes, users gain enhanced control over their projects. These tools help maximize the value of geospatial and design data, both now and as the Trimble Connect platform continues to evolve.

How does it work?
Every subscription of the above listed products will include the capabilities of Trimble Connect Business Premium. When you assign any of these subscriptions to a user’s TrimbleID (TID), the capabilities of Connect Business Premium will automatically be assigned to the user’s TID as well. The Trimble Connect Business Premium seat license cannot be transferred to another TID.
For New Subscription Customers
- Assign the subscription to the customer's email or TID in Trimble Virtual Warehouse.
- Customer creates their TID through the email invitation if no TID exists.
- Customer logs into Trimble Connect at https://connect.trimble.com/ and automatically has Trimble Connect Business Premium license.
For Existing Subscription Customers
- Sign out of their TID in the subscription product (Trimble Access, TBC, etc.).
- Sign back into the product with their same TID to refresh to the latest subscription configuration.
- Access to both the subscription product and Trimble Connect Business Premium is granted automatically. If they were previously using a different Connect license tier, they will be upgraded to Connect Business Premium.
After these steps, any Connect instance (Web, Desktop, Mobile, etc.) should reflect Business Premium functionality for this TID.

Yes, this is for subscription only. Including Trimble Connect Business Premium in subscriptions only is another differentiator between perpetual and subscription license options.
Yes, any current subscription to FieldLink Advanced will have access to Trimble Connect Business Premium. This does NOT include perpetual licenses.
No, since both subscriptions are included in one part number on the store, there will only be one TrimbleID assigned.
Should this situation arise, we recommend you look to transfer the existing license to another user within your organization.
Existing subscription license holders get the Trimble Connect Business Premium license as well. Simply log in to Trimble Connect, and your license will be upgraded.
